Starlink for Farms

Farms are rarely a single-building problem. The farmhouse, the office, the yard, the grain store and the cottage all need connectivity, and they are rarely close together.

Farm buildings and yard in the English countryside

One connection, several buildings

We typically site the dish where the sky is clearest, which is often a barn or a pole rather than the house, then distribute the connection to the buildings that need it using buried Ethernet, outdoor links and weather-rated access points.

  • Farmhouse and farm office coverage
  • Agricultural buildings, grain stores and workshops
  • Yard CCTV and gate systems
  • Staff and holiday accommodation
  • Connectivity for monitoring and IoT equipment where suitable

Built for a working environment

Cable is protected where machinery and livestock pass, equipment is mounted out of harm's way, and we plan runs around gateways, tracks and yards rather than across them.

Farms FAQs

Can you connect buildings across the yard?
Yes, with buried duct or outdoor point-to-point links, depending on distance and line of sight.
Can the dish go on a steel-framed barn?
Frequently yes, and it is often the best position on the holding. The fixing method depends on the sheeting and purlin arrangement.
