Stow sits high on the wolds at around 800 feet, and the exposure that makes it famously windy also gives most properties an excellent view of the sky. The installation challenges here are usually about the buildings rather than the horizon: old stone, steep stone-slate roofs and tight town-centre plots.

Open, elevated farmland surrounds the town, falling away towards the Evenlode and Windrush valleys. Obstructions are typically limited to individual mature trees and neighbouring rooflines rather than continuous woodland.
Seventeenth and eighteenth-century stone houses around the market square, stone cottages in the surrounding villages, and farmhouses with substantial barn ranges. Roofs are often heavy stone slate on original timbers, which we do not walk.
The villages around Stow, including the Swells and the Slaughters, are small, dispersed and a long way from any fast line, which is why so much of the local demand comes from residential properties rather than businesses.
Gable and wall mounts are the norm, avoiding loading old stone-slate coverings. Barn and outbuilding mounts are common where the house is listed or the aspect is blocked by neighbouring buildings.
Holiday cottages, pubs with rooms and small hospitality businesses make up a large share of local enquiries, where guest WiFi quality directly affects reviews.
