Starlink Cable Routing

The cable run is where a good installation shows. Sealed entries, protected runs and sensible routes keep water out of the building and keep the connection stable.

Neatly routed network cabling and a wall-mounted router

Outside the building

We follow existing lines wherever possible, running alongside downpipes, under eaves and behind rainwater goods so the cable disappears into the elevation. Penetrations are drilled with a fall to the outside, sealed, and given a drip loop so water cannot track inwards.

Inside the building

Internally the cable is clipped or run in trunking on agreed lines, through lofts and service voids where they exist. In thick-walled stone and cob properties there is rarely an easy route, so we discuss the options with you before drilling anything.

  • Sealed, weather-tight wall and soffit entries
  • Buried duct across drives, lawns and yards
  • Trunking and clipping matched to internal finishes
  • Cable protection where livestock, machinery or mowers pass

Cable Routing FAQs

Can the cable be buried?
Yes, in suitable duct at an appropriate depth for the ground use. We agree the route and reinstatement with you first.
Can you hide the cable inside the house?
Often, using lofts, voids and existing service routes. Where a fully concealed route is not possible we use discreet trunking on an agreed line.
