Starlink Mesh WiFi Installation

Mesh works well when the nodes are placed properly and badly when they are simply plugged in at the far end of the house.

Node placement is the whole job

Each mesh node must be able to hear the one before it clearly. Placing a node where the signal is already weak simply rebroadcasts a weak signal. We survey signal levels through the building and position nodes so each hop is strong, using wired backhaul wherever a cable route exists.

  • Starlink mesh nodes and third-party mesh systems
  • Wired backhaul between nodes where practical
  • Seamless roaming so devices hand over cleanly
  • Configuration tuned to the property, not left on defaults

Mesh WiFi FAQs

Is mesh better than extra access points?
It depends on the building. Mesh is quicker to deploy and needs no cabling; wired access points are more predictable in solid-walled properties. We recommend based on the survey.
How many nodes will I need?
That depends on floor area, wall construction and layout. We size the system after looking at the property rather than guessing from square footage.
