Starlink Wall Mount Installation

Wall and gable mounting is often the neatest solution: shorter cable runs, easier future maintenance and no work on the roof covering itself.

When a wall mount is the right choice

If the upper part of a gable or an elevation already sits above the surrounding hedges and trees, a wall mount gives most of the benefit of a roof installation with less disruption. It is also easier to reach later, which matters if the dish ever needs repositioning or cleaning.

Fixings that suit the building

Stone, brick, block, render and timber cladding each need a different approach. On soft lime-mortared rural stonework we fix into the stone rather than the joint, and on rendered walls we make sure the bracket loads the structure behind rather than the render coat.

  • Gable-end and elevation brackets
  • Standoff arms to clear overhanging eaves
  • Discreet colour-matched cable runs
  • Cable entry sited above internal router positions where possible

Wall Mounting FAQs

Can Starlink be wall mounted?
Yes, with the correct bracket and fixings. The wall needs to be sound and the position needs a clear view of the sky across the dish's full field of view.
How visible is a wall-mounted dish?
Less than most people expect. Sited on a gable or a rear elevation and finished with a tidy cable run, it reads as a small flat panel rather than a traditional dish.
